Highlights of the season

November 19, 1993: Delino DeShields was traded by the Expos to the Los Angeles Dodgers for Pedro Martínez.
December 13, 1993: The Expos traded a player to be named later to the Cleveland Indians for Randy Milligan. The Expos send Brian Barnes to the Indians on December 17.
March 31, 1994: John Vander Wal was purchased from the Expos by the Colorado Rockies.
The Expos had the best record in Major League Baseball, 74–40, when the start of a players′ strike on August 12, 1994 brought the season to a premature close.
The strike dragged on through the fall, forcing the cancellation of the playoffs and World Series.
Felipe Alou has been named Manager of the Year by Associated Press.
The 1994 Montreal Expos average attendance has been 22,390.
