The nine damage needed to win this match is easily attained in one action with
a strong Potions spell. However, if you are playing with Potions cards in
your deck, there are better healing alternatives than this. If you are trying
to win this match with Quidditch spells, the only way to win this right away
without delving into high end (9+ lessons) cards is with a Power Play or
Body Blow, once you have a Nimbus 2000 out. That seems rather combo oriented
for the meager gain of a six point heal. If you have developed enough to
be able to use spells like Mid-Air Collision or Blagging, then you are most
likely better off trying to pack in more cards to finish off your opponent,
than you are trying to heal for 6. If you want healing, how about using Slytherin
Match, or Madam Pomfrey? The only positive thing I can see about Rainy Day
Match is that it's a healing card that isn't labeled as a healing card. Thus,
it's possible to use it in such a way that you can keep drawing forever.
I don't see any good method to tap into that potential, however.

A nice match, when combined with Nimbus and Power Play it's very nice =) 9
damage is usually easy to reach, and shuffle 6 back into your deck is really
nice. It's like a safer version of Slytherin match! :O

Who needs potions when you got matches like Rainy Day and Slytherin Match.
You can heal yourself for doing damage. That sounds like a fairly good deal
to me. The only draw back with any match is whether or not you can win it
before your opponent does. Heavy hitters and cards that stall your opponent
can really help where thats concerned. Even ancillary items like Quidditch
Cup will aid you in winning matches. If healing is your thing, then this
card is perfect for you.

There isn't a good chance of solving this the same turn you play it, unless
you've got it all planned out ahead of time. Healing is good, and six cards
is just enough to be good if you win, and not enough to disturb your track "too" much.
