Aardvark
It's a reprint of Bluebell Flames. Yawn. Like, hardly anyone ever used that
card the first time around. Why bring back a has-been? Bewitched Snowballs
and Stream of Flames are far superior to this. They are cheaper to cast by
two, and give you an additional effect, with only one less point of delivered
damage. If you are faced with an opponent who is running a deck with a horde
of smaller creatures, you are not going to want to wait until you have the
seven lessons needed to play Freezing Charm. The opponent's creatures will
get in lots of early licks on you, and the four damage this card causes will
often be overkill, given that most commonly seen creatures have a health
of three or less. Although this card is more effective against larger creatures,
many of the ones that you'd be most worried about have built-in lesson loss,
so casting two successive smaller blue damage spells would not necessarily
translate into card disadvantage for you. If your deck is designed to quickly
ramp up the lesson learning, then your best option would probably be Verdillious,
which inflicts one more damage. I'm just not that fond of this card.
Crusader
This is a reprint of Bluebell Flames, which is a nice card. In charms deck,
this card is a killer anti creature card. You can take out most creatures
with ease, and take out the larger creatures more quickly. But, it only has
uses in Dobby's Help decks...
Enraged
This
card is a reprint and still how shall we say it sucks. 7 power is to much
when Stream of Flames takes out most creatures and does damage to an opponent.
So play something better than this it is just to expensive.
Fishbob
This card is exactly like Bluebell Flames. Four damage for 7 power isn't that
good. Most creatures these days have 3 or less health anyway. You should
go with Stream of Flames becuase it's only one less damage AND it does 3
damage to your opponent so it's like 6 damage for two less power.
Profpoke
Ah, the nostalgia... as if having 4 Bluebell Flames in your deck wasn't enough,
now you can basically have 8! But is it worth it? ... Nope, not really. It
was never a real superior card to begin with, and I think they realized that
when they reprinted it's double and made it Common instead of Uncommon. But
if you really enjoyed Bluebell Flames, then this is the card for you! :p
Steel_claw
Same as Bluebell Flames.
If you’re going to play this card, go for the two more lesson costing
Verdillious so you can kill off big damage creatures like Norweigan Ridgeback.
If you’re going to go for a smaller lesson Charms deck, use Vermillious.
