Aardvark
This is a very nice complement to the old Cage. The four damage it delivers
removes the vast majority of opposing creatures, while Cage bounces the really
big stuff. Until you see a target worthy of your attention, the Guide to
Household Pests performs the same function as a normal lesson. With Draco
Slytherin as your master, this is even a "free" play. If you own
some of these and aren't using them, you are making a big mistake.
Crusader
With the Draw Kill decks running around now, this is the best book out imo.
It does 4 damage to any creature of your choice, so you can kill pretty much
any creature, or something like Hedwig that you have out...:) Also, it provides
1CoMC, so there's a plus. And, its 2CoMC. If you can't reach that, then you
have deck issues, or you run a no lesson deck. ;o
Enraged
Lesson advancement that can kill creatures! Where do I sign up I gotta get
Lockhart to sign this for me. It is basically a lesson but if you need something
to pick off those annoying Mountain Trolls or almost any creature available.
I absolutely love it best book ever I say. Man that Lockhart is talented.
Lockhart
Well boys and girls. The fine people at POJO.com have gone and done something
spectacular for a change. They have gone and devoted a whole week of cards
to me. Well this idea is so Brilliant! I know what all you Lockhart-holics
are saying, we want more Lockhart! Be patient my devoted fans, these ruffians
are finally getting their head on straight. Now onward to today's card. Guide
to Household Pests, a book I wrote of course, is great! It provides a lesson
which is sweet, its an item so if you're using Draco Slytherin you get an
extra action, and if you're opponents creatures are getting you down, you
can zap them for 4 damage. Well this card is just sweet. I suggesting using
it often, and if it just sits in your hand well at least you get to look
at my dashing smile.
Profpoke
Costs two and provides power like a lesson, but you stays there until you want
to use it to do 4 damage to the creature of your choice.. 4 damage against
a creature is alot.. not many cards can offer that much damage (aside from
Potions), and 4 damage will take out most average creatures relativly easy.
Snuffles
This is a really cool book and i am glad that Care of Magical Creatures now
has a decent way to deal with larger creatures. We have had Doxy and Streeler
for a while and Cage and Fluffy Falls Asleep, but nothing that really deals
with the bigger creatures permanently. Combine this with a Doxy and you have
effectively 6 Damage to a Creature which is about what you can get with the
more common Charms cards. Madam Ima Pince doesn't look too bad anymore as
this book is definitely worth the trouble of getting back. I dig it.
