They reprinted Logic Puzzle? Is there no depths to which these craven game
designers will stoop,to avoid coming up with new and original ideas? Apparently
not. Who wants to join me in my torch crusade to "enlighten" them
on the errors of their ways? This card is simply *way* too narrow of an effect.
Not all people put adventures in their decks, and many that do play them
use ones that shut down spells like this. So why bother? You know, I'd like
to see this game continue, but it's hard to rally the populace to play when
they fill the game with detritus of this sort.
Enraged
Not great not really that bad either. Most decks have a few adventures in them
and that in its self makes this card worthy of one or two slots in your deck.
However, usually adventures have really bad rewards so it is probably better
to play Apparate or Argus Filch.
Lockhart
The nice thing about this card is that its common. Logic Puzzle was uncommon.
Yeah so what you say, I'm not going to use this card anyways. And I would
say good for you. Lets face it, if you're really worried about adventures,
get one or two Argus Filch's and put them in your deck. He takes care of
ALL adventures, where Hermoine's Note can not get rid of Spell Blocking Adventures,
or even Letters from No One. This card does work nicely to rid yourself of
adventures, but don't you have other things to worry about, like how to finish
your opponent off?
Profpoke
Logic Puzzle's clone, but supposidly easier to find according to it's rarity.
For the most part, you won't be using this type of card in your deck unless
you've got a plan, or you like to have it there "just incase." Most
adventure's played are spell stopping adventures, so that's no good for this.
But alot more different kinds of Adventures have been released, so there's
a chance people could start playing non-spell-stopping adventures, but even
then, I'd only put 2 or 3 of these in a deck, max.
Snuffles
Well if you are really afraid of adventures and four logic puzzles just doesn't
cut it, now you can have eight of them! or just pick the better picture.
thats what i usually do. im not sure if wizards is planning on siding out
the base set or what here folks, but honestly if they were going to repeat
some cards.... howabout some really groovy ones that we all wish we could
have eight of in a deck.... oh wait i know..... they did that on purpose
cuz they don't want overpowerful decks. anywho, i play with this just in
case in a couple decks and it aint bad, but a lot of yer adventures stop
spells, so.... dont rely too heavily on it.
